Yvonne is a Consultant at Feminuity, supporting and leading research and special projects related to resource development.
She is invigorated by collective efforts toward building more equitable environments at work and home. She strongly believes in feminist-based care-centred approaches to realizing caring systems.
Yvonne holds a Doctoral degree and Master’s degree in Feminist and Gender Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Women’s Studies from the University of Ottawa. Yvonne’s academic work explored student-parent academic policy, mental health among knowledge workers, feminist leadership theory, and experiences of birth centre workers from the perspective of leadership and activism.
Yvonne is a white, neurodivergent, queer woman, and caregiver. She can mostly be found trying to keep up with her three children and black lab, Lola. When she isn’t elbow-deep in her kids’ next craft creations, she can be found running and walking the Ottawa river paths and listening to an endless loop of podcasts.
