Our education services are grounded in theory and brought to life through real work applications. Offered in-person, remotely, and across all platforms. Choose from over 40 topics.
When launching any type of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) related learning within an organization, we recommend that you highly encourage people to engage with it but never mandate it. Research indicates that people often respond to compulsory courses with anger and resistance, and many participants report more animosity toward other groups afterward.
For live remote workshops, we maintain engagement by limiting the number of participants (up to 50 people). Webinars can accommodate up to 250 people, but are less interactive. For both workshops and webinars, we use tools such as Mentimeter and breakout groups to generate discussion amongst peers and use adapted versions of our group activities to ensure they are ‘remote-friendly.’
We love working with organizations that want to customize the educational experience for their people. We offer “off-the-shelf” or custom learning experiences, and we’ll work with your team to understand your needs design a learning journey that’s right for your organization.
We do not allow for recordings of workshops as they are highly interactive and participants may not feel comfortable being vulnerable in a recorded space. We may allow webinars to be recorded if this requested in advance and communicated to participants prior to the session. Recordings must be destroyed within an agreement upon window.
Yes, and this content is also intentionally woven into our content, given the inextricable nature of forms of power, privilege, and oppression. For us, it’s important to consider over 40+ dimensions of diversity across our work! If we have a request for unique, targeted training on anti-Black racism or anti-Indigenous racism, as examples, we may also refer you to vendors that we have vetted and trust to deliver it.
