Andrea is an innovation expert and thought leader on the use of evidence-based research for diversity, equity, and inclusion. Dr. Rowe is one of the original Co-Founders of Feminuity and she served as our Chief Research Officer.
Andrea cares deeply about this work because of her personal experience with lifesaving advances in paediatric cardiology and the power of evidence-based research to make the impossible, possible.

Andrea has published her work on gender equality and national innovation systems in the International Journal of Gender and Entrepreneurship and her work on innovation and growth from startups in Canada has been recognized by the International Society for Professional Innovation Management (ISPIM), a leading innovation organization active in 70 countries with the 2019 Dick Marsh Prize or the paper most likely to make an impact.
Andrea has extensive work experience in academia, the public and private sector in health policy, intergovernmental relations, and innovation policy. Andrea holds a Ph.D. in Comparative Public Policy from McMaster University and completed a Mitacs Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at the Ted Rogers School of Management at Ryerson University.
Andrea loves the culinary arts and dreams of having her own cooking show.
