Chief Operating Officer

Ivana Lochhead is a Strategy and Operations Leader with a data-driven and human-centred design approach to solving business challenges. As Chief Operations Officer at Feminuity, Ivana provides the leadership necessary to ensure the company has the proper operational processes and systems in place to effectively serve its client base and grow the business. Ivana also consults on projects that have a quantitative and strategy component.

Ivana believes in building relationships and communities that are courageous and intentional in their pursuit of social justice, equity, and inclusion. She believes that practicing empathy, understanding privilege, and embracing conflict in a vulnerable way are the critical gateways to learning to value, engage with, and understand differences, and to building environments and businesses that are unshakeable in their foundation. She passionately believes that Canada needs a workforce that looks like Canada and that the world needs innovation created by all groups and identities.

After four years at a leading brand strategy and marketing analytics firm consulting on select global brands, Ivana shifted direction and pursued her MBA where she discovered her passion for entrepreneurship, innovation, and diversity and inclusion. During her MBA, Ivana founded and led Canada’s first ‘Men as Allies’ initiative at a Canadian business school under the Women in Leadership Association. She brought together a community of 300 men and women, at the student and faculty levels, to actively engage in the movement for gender equality and women’s empowerment in the business world. Since then, she has worked across the Toronto startup ecosystem connecting with and supporting passionate entrepreneurs grow their businesses.

Ivana holds a BA in Economics from the University of Toronto and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business and IE Business School. Ivana identifies as a heterosexual, cisgender, white woman, with a wide-open and sensitive heart to all suffering.  She loves the outdoors and activities that push her both physically and mentally and is obsessed with dogs and anything that makes her laugh.
